My Trip To Dierbergs

On my way to work, I decided that I would stop by the store and buy 'healthy' food instead of going through the drive-thru for breakfast and lunch. Dierberg's has a wonderful organic section. I went in and walked directly to the produce section. Raspberrys were on sale so I grabbed a pint. I found some hummus that looked good, picked up some pita chips, a soy vanilla chai tea, a Fuse low-cal drink, some tea to brew throughout the day, and I was ready to check out.

Everyone was in a fowl mood in that store. The other customers almost growled at me as I passed by. I can't tell you a thing about the cashier. I don't even know if they were male or female. That is not because I couldn't tell, but they had no personality, did not greet me, and so, I didn't really even make eye-contact with them. What I do remember is that my 'healthy' food for the day cost me almost fifteen bucks. Yikes. It's no wonder that very few people eat healthy.
